- The ESpyder, custom built zero emissions electric car.
- Mitsubishi to introduce another in-wheel electric car (hey, maybe they could start selling in-wheel electric motors, too?)
- Revised EPA fuel economy labeling rule issued
- Sorry for the lack of updates, been away on vacation enjoying the warm (dry!) weather in Arizona. Even the high elevations of Flagstaff are warm and dry, which has been a nice treat after the cold/warm/wet cycle in New England this Winter.
The in-wheel electric drive is interesting. Maybe we could convert regular cars to electric without major overhauling and removing of old ICE. Hey we could kick the oil habit a little sooner! Hope they think about making conversion kits.
I have asked about buying the MIEV but it will not be available until late 2006
Yep, too bad that while you were enjoying all that sunshine, you missed the A123 System sign-up for volunteer testing.
What is the A123 System testing this is the first i have heard of this?
I think JC is picking on me again… ”:^)
I saw that Jessie James pwered his car using 24v batteries for power tools. You should power your car with the new 36V lithium ION batteries that are comming out for Black and Decker, DeWalt cordless tools. They recharge in minutes. The availability will be in April of this year.
Hey Jerry, that ESpyder link now has a login screen (it didn’t yesterday). I think someone hit the Paranoia Button!
